My name is David Buckley.

I’m a Senior Software Developer at Shopify.

Here’s some things I’ve built that I think are neat:

• Stacksort: Attempt to sort a list by blindly executing code from StackOverflow. Inspired by XKCD Ineffective Sorts.
• discord-interactions-flask: Flask extension to provide a framework for building Discord bots using their Interactions API.
• bytecode: Manually write Python functions using Python bytecode.
• Hack in Hack: An implementation of the Hack virtual machine written in Hack assembly, from the excellent nand2tetris course.

You might be able to tell from those projects, but my greatest joy in building software comes from designing and implementing interesting interfaces to underlying systems.
